Frequently Asked Questions

In the event that we are unable to run your holiday as planned (either as a result of a change to Foreign Office advice, a lockdown prohibiting you from travelling) you will be offered the full range of cancellation options including:

- Moving your holiday to a later date

- An ATOL protected Refund Credit Note

- A cash refund

Requests for immediate refunds will be processed within 14 days from the date of the request.

Under the current rules you will not need to quarantine on arrival in Greece and travellers don't have to quarantine on their return from Greece.

You can check the latest government advice here.

If you are unable to take your holiday as a result of having to self-isolate, we regret that our usual cancellation conditions will apply.

We strongly recommend you obtain travel insurance which covers you in the event that you or a member of your party has to self-isolate.

(We can't recommend specific policies, but a web search for "Best Covid 19 Travel Insurance" would be a good place to start. We suggest looking for a policy which covers you if you or a member of your party tests positive, or if you have to self-isolate after having been contacted by any relevant authorities.

You should double check your policy documents and may wish to contact your insurance provider directly if you aren't sure you are covered. It is important that you are happy with your policy and that it covers you for all elements of your holiday, including cover for interruptions to your holiday as a result of Covid-19.

We are confident that we have done all we can to ensure that you and your crew will feel comfortable and safe whilst sailing with us but, if you have concerns, please phone us on 020 8438 1122 and talk to a member of our team.

Yes! These will be sent in the post a few weeks before you go. You can also access the Information Manual online through the login area of our website. The Information Manual has loads of useful information about your boat, how everything works, what's on board, and what to expect from your flotilla. Please have a good read through this before you go so that it's all 'plain sailing' when you get there!

Our Helpful Hints (which can be found by logging in to our site here) contains a full packing guide, but there are a few other things you will need to bring with you:

  • Face masks
  • Hand sanitiser
  • Basic first aid kit

Remember to check exactly what's required via the Greek Government Travel Website.

From 16th May European rules will no longer make it mandatory to wear a mask on board the plane, but the final decision will still be left to individual airlines.

We expect that airlines will start to update their policies after this date, but please check with your airline before travelling and follow their published rules regarding when masks must be worn, as well as the type required. (Please note that most airlines require you to wear a face mask as opposed to a face covering. Scarves, visors or masks with a valve may not be permitted.)

Testing at the airport is random so there is a chance you may be asked to take a test. If you are selected you will be asked to provide a swab sample.

Once tested, you'll be free to collect your bags and join the transfer to your yacht. You won't be required to self-isolate whilst you wait for the results.

We also politely ask you to wear a mask for the duration of your coach transfer.

Yes, supermarkets and mini-markets are up and running and well stocked. Tavernas and bars are also ready to welcome you!

Yes, your crew will still brief you every morning. This may not always be able to take place in a taverna (depending on the size) but your Lead Crew will find somewhere suitable for you to all get together.

As always, your lead crew are there to make sure you have the best holiday possible. If they need to come on board your yacht for any reason, you may be asked to go ashore (where possible).

They will disinfect any areas of your yacht that they have been working in once finished.
