Flotilla Sailing Routes Videos

Our flotillas have gradually expanded from covering just the Ionian Islands to now sailing across the Saronic and the Sporades Islands as well. These areas area all unique in what they have to offer and in some of these destinations we have multiple different route options. Below are some videos that should help you determine which would be the perfect choice for your next sailing holiday...

The Ionian Islands

The Ionian Islands are the perfect playground for beginner sailors. If you are looking to take your first steps into yacht sailing the gentle breezes and short sailing days are ideal for building confidence on board.

You can meander from harbour to harbour, spend lazy lunches at anchor and use the afternoon breezes to perfect your sailing skills. The area has a wonderful combination of bustling harbours and one taverna bays along with beautiful crystal clear waters. We have been sailing in this area for over 40 years and we can see why people are drawn back to the Ionian Islands year on year.

Two Week Whole Ionian Flotilla

Our flagship flotilla is one that takes in the highlights of the Ionian. You will begin in either the South Ionian in the harbour of Sivota or in the North Ionian in Plataria.

The Two Week Whole Ionian Flotilla is the perfect route for beginners or people looking to explore more of the Ionian. There are a couple of longer sailing days which are great for getting the sails out and for dolphin spotting!

Two Week South Ionian Flotilla

The South Ionian is blessed with a plethora of islands, from Lefkas to Meganissi, Kefalonia to Ithaka. There are many protected bays which are ideal for lazy lunch stops and the afternoon breeze is great for leisurely sailing.

We offer one and two week flotillas in this area which sail from May through to October. The routes that we have on offer are: One Week Kefalonia FlotillaOne Week Ithaka Flotilla and Two Week South Ionian Flotilla.

Two Week North Ionian Flotilla

The North Ionian Flotilla is a route that takes in all the best spots on the islands of Corfu, Paxos and the Greek mainland. Sailing from Corfu Island you with either head north to the harbours of Kassiopi, St Stephanos and Agni or south to spots such as Petriti, Paxos and Parga.

The North Ionian is a great flotilla for those of who may have explored the South Ionian before and are looking for a change.

Two Week Faraway Islands Flotilla

Our Two Week Faraway Islands is one that we have a soft spot for. We have been exploring this area almost undisturbed by other yachts for over 40 years. The "Faraway Islands" - Ericousa, Mathraki and Othoni are off the north coast of Corfu. They are quiet and secluded with some of the most outstanding beaches in Greece.

You will get to take in all of the popular spots in the North Ionian including Lakka, Corfu Town, Kassiopi and St Stephanos as well as sailing off the beaten track. This route is one that will give people the opportunity to explore parts of the Ionian that they may previously have not known existed!

One Week Paxos Flotilla

If you can't escape for two weeks, our One Week Paxos Flotilla is the perfect way to see the highlights of the North Ionian.

Sailing from Corfu you will head south to the beautiful harbours of Lakka, Gaios and Mongonisi calling into Parga or Sivota Mourtos on the mainland.

The gentle sailing conditions make this a great first flotilla for beginners or if you fancy a change from our ever popular South Ionian flotillas.

The Saronic Islands

The Saronic Islands Flotillas are the ideal next step for flotilla sailors who have already explored the Ionian Islands. The area is a little windier and we have two different flotillas depending on what you are looking for from your holiday.

The Saronic Islands are located south of Athens and remain un-spoilt by tourism and crowds. The harbours are beautiful and the local food is exceptional (the wine isn't all that bad either). The sailors amongst you will revel in the steady afternoon breezes which carry you from one town to the next, whilst the land lovers on board with relish the bustling harbours bursting with character.

The Two Week Saronic Islands and Peloponnese Coastal Villages flotilla is the perfect route for those looking to shake out the sails whilst exploring quaint towns and harbours. The flotilla begins and ends in Astrous and makes its way down the Peloponnese coast to the spectacular walled town of Monemvasia.

The Sporades

The Sporades are the most advanced sailing area that we offer, the winds are generally stronger throughout the season. We therefore suggest that you have either sailed on a fair few flotillas before or have practical sailing qualifications.

The flotilla begins in Orei on Evia Island before sailing north through the archipelago of islands including Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Kyra Panayia. The further north you sail the more secluded the islands become. One of the most popular elements of this flotilla is the nights spent at anchor under the stars in beautiful bays. We can see why so many people return to sail in this area year on year.

The Sporades Flotilla remains one of our most popular flotilla routes. We have been offering this area now for nearly 10 years and in 2016 we launched a second flotilla to cope with the demand for this route.

We run this flotilla from May through to Mid-October, generally the summer months are a little windier with the Meltemi winds strongest at this time. Either side of the school summer holidays you can expect some lovely steady winds meaning the engine can remain switched off as much as you want!
