Two week Faraway Islands Flotilla
In reality, the “Faraway Islands” really aren’t all that far away. They are named this as they are Greece’s furthest away islands from Athens! (Like Land's End in the UK or Finisterre in Spain.) New harbours at Ericousa and Othoni have prompted a return to the Faraway Islands! These safe havens give us more flexibility when planning our trip to The Faraways.

Sailing conditions
Generally warm and sunny, which is why we love sailing in this part of the world! The regular but steady afternoon breezes between the islands create exciting sailing for those keener sailors out there.
Places to explore
In the first four to five days, the flotilla usually heads north to the sparsely populated Faraway Islands, with a possible stop in historic Corfu Town for a taste of Venetian and Greek history. Ericousa features a large bay ideal for anchoring, offering a relaxing atmosphere and invigorating morning swims. The harbour at Ericousa attracts few yachts, allowing for peaceful nights under the stars. Othoni is lush with pine and olive trees, overlooking Mathraki and nearby islands, all boasting beautiful sandy beaches, particularly Mathraki's golden sands against Corfu's white cliffs. The flotilla will spend about four to five days exploring these islands.
