We’re a mere 3 weeks away from the start of our 2022 season in the sunny Greek Islands!
Work doesn’t stop for our dedicated Corfu team during the wintertime, through the downpours of rain and winter sun you’ll find them working on our yachts. Believe it or not, it gets quite cold in Greece in the winter and even occasionally snows, so working outside can be a challenge.
There are many jobs to be ticked off before the boats are launched. Flotilla Skippers and Engineers work together to get their fleets ready, as they say – many hands make light work! Once the on-land work has been done, the yachts are all lifted back into the water. The running rigging and sails are put back on the boats. The above images show one of our 'new generation' Beneteau 38.1's journey from the boatyard back to the water!

Then the “Hosties” arrive to get the interiors sparkling clean. They fit the cushion covers back on after winter dry cleaning, load the all-important inventory, and do the final touches. This work takes place between February and the middle of April. The crews work to a tight schedule, but somehow they manage to pull it off every year!
