With less than a fortnight to go until the first flotilla of the season slips their lines and heads off to explore the beautiful Greek Islands, there's not long left to get all of your holiday essentials and pack them into your bags!
We know that packing tends to be a stressful time in general, but even more so if you're packing for a completely new holiday experience! Over the years we like to think that we've got our sailing holiday packing down to a tee, so we thought this would be a great time to get all of our new flotilla sailors prepared! In this guide even our returning flotilla sailors might pick up a handy hint or two to perfect their packing skills for their next trip!
Over the last couple of years we've put our top tips for our different types of Flotilla holiday, so without further ado, take a look at the following options below:

We often ask our customers on our Facebook page what they find most helpful to pack in their bags for their sailing holidays and there's been a fair few times that they've given us great ideas! Take a look at some examples below:
"Reusable shopping bags! To cut down on plastic pollution!" - Ian ..(you will be provided with one of our lovely tote bags once you step on board your boat, but it's useful to have an extra one or two!)
"A head torch is really useful and something to identify your boat from all the other white boats bobbing around at anchor after a night of well lubricated enjoyment......we learnt this the hard way at Lakka!" - Debbie
"Packing organisers for your luggage. They save so much space as you can roll your clothes, you can see exactly what clothes you have and know exactly where to find everything!" - Pam
“Don’t pack too many clothes, trust me – less is more! You’ll be sailing in the sunshine, you don’t need your whole wardrobe and the kitchen sink!” - Steve
"Battery powered fairy lights to illuminate your boat on its mooring" - Ann
We hope that you’ve found this guide useful and that you feel prepared for your first or umpteenth flotilla holiday! We look forward to seeing you out on the water this summer!
