Welcome to our 'Shore to Sail' program where you can sail for a week, then relax ashore for a week - both with Sailing Holidays as your friendly host!

Following the huge success of these holidays over the last couple of years, we continue for 2008 with some popular dates full already. It seems that we were right in feeling that many people wanted to explore the islands by sea and then relax on shore for a week. Your holiday package will include a car along with your accommodation so that you can tour the island by road as well as by sea.

The Kalokeri Apartments are a 10-15 minute walk from Fiskardo Town itself, so no worries on the breathalyser front! Fiskardo Town is a picturesque and busy place in the summer with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Yachts and fishing boats come and go all day long during the summer, creating a real "Mediterranean waterside feel".

The route on this flotilla will keep everybody happy! It allows for visits a little further south than our other flotillas as well as a night or two in the old favourites. It should also suit the keener sailors as there is almost always wind during the afternoons in the Ithaca channel and along the eastern side of Ithaca.

We have a feeling that this holiday will also hit the spot with those of you who have to make a deal with "the boss" to get your summer sailing! Please note that the yachts on our Kefalonia "Shore to Sail" programme are also available for one week's flotilla sailing so you will be meeting a mixture of interesting people.
