We operate our Share-a-Yacht holidays on all of our Greek one, two, and three week flotilla routes, (subject to yacht availability). A significant number of holidaymakers enjoy going on flotilla by themselves or as couples. Some have their first sailing experience on our Pot Luck holidays and come again year after year. People with a range of experience levels from none to lots take part in this programme and this is what makes it so much fun. If you are a couple who have never sailed but would like to, then you can share a larger boat to learn the ropes first and perhaps have a smaller yacht to yourselves the following year. Pot Luck provides an opportunity for individuals to spend a couple of weeks away from it all making new friends whilst sailing in the sun. The atmosphere ashore in the evenings afforded by a group of 30 / 40 people makes these holidays extremely popular for independent people who enjoy good company! On the other hand, you may just prefer to wander off and enjoy a more tranquil time alone. The majority of pot luckers have a ball and some stay in touch for years afterwards, some returning in following years as whole boat crews. We find it's better that people meet at the beginning of the holiday when everybody is in the holiday mood, rather than before. We assemble crews based on the information we have to hand in the London office and take into account age and sailing experience, we also try to mix the sexes as best we can. At the end of the day however, our lead crew will have the final say on the ground in case we get it wrong! Our standard Pot Luck holidays are based either on four people sharing 36ft Beneteaus or 37ft Bavarias in Greece. The Pot luck option can be enjoyed for one or two weeks on our Greek flotillas. Our new, luxury, book-a-cabin holidays sail on our latest purchase, the Beneteau 52.3, sailing with a maximum of 6 people (3 couples), each with their own cabin and ensuite, with a skipper aboard, in a separate self contained cabin.
