Best Activity/Sports Holiday Company
From our fun flotillas to brilliant bareboats and sensational skippered charter...we think we provide some of the best activity holidays out there! From our unrivaled knowledge to get the ball rolling, to our fantastic follow through when you are out in resort, we think our sailing holidays are pretty darn good. In 2015 we also began offering SUP's (stand up paddle boards) on both our flotilla and bareboat yachts. This is one of the fastest growing trends in water sports today and (happily) an incredible way to explore the bays and coves of the Mediterranean.
Best Family Holiday Company
We have been told by many parents that our holidays offer something different...not only "exceptionally good family fun" (according to Sarah Lattey) but, to the kids, the holidays offer life changing experiences. It is not just about the sun, sea & sailing but also the skills side of the holiday. To enjoy a holiday, simply sailing and having fun in the sun, without even noticing that you are picking up unique (and often life-long) skills is something other holiday companies don't often replicate.
Best Company for Customer Service
We are told time and time again that our lead crews are some of the best in the business; From a skillful skipper, to a gregarious hostess with the most-ess and of course not forgetting the excellent engineers! From when you speak to someone in the London office you are talking to someone who has either worked or been on the holidays. They know first hand what goes into making a good trip. 92% of you have said that you would absolutely recommend us to your friends and family which means the world to us! We won Silver for this award in 2015 and are looking forward to going for Gold in 2016...fingers crossed!
Best Special Interest Holiday Company
In 2015 we won Silver as the Best Special Interest Holiday, beating a lot of larger companies to the final three! This year we are hoping for gold, so if you think we are one of the best Special Interest Holidays out there and if you would recommend us to friends, vote for us!
Best Tour Operator to Hellenic Europe
In previous years we have been lucky enough to win GOLD in the category celebrating the best tour operators to Hellenic Europe. As Greece is a place we know and love, this was an exciting accolade to celebrate the holidays and also the terrific culture Greece has to offer. If you enjoyed the gregarious charm of the Greek people, the delicious food and unique scenery on your sailing holiday, vote for us!
What are the British Travel Awards all about?
The British Travel Awards are all about awarding the best British tour operators. British Travel Awards are a prestigious accolade that can only be obtained by the British public voting for whoever they deem the best! This is the biggest style consumer voting event in the UK with over a million votes being cast! British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton says: “This year there are nearly seven hundred nominations listed against 83 Award categories and competition to win a British Travel Award will be fierce. In 2015 more than a million votes were cast by you, the British public, to decide the winners making the BTAs easily the largest awards programme in the UK."
