A History from Flotilla Sailing Club to 'Sailing Holidays Ltd'.

This is a request to those of you who came out with us in the very early days (the seventies in particular)to have a dig around in your attics for your photos and memories! Those of you who have interesting photos and reminiscences from all the years are also welcome because the more we look at it the more we realise has changed.

We have finally put ourselves into gear to create a history of the company so that everyone can see for themselves how we and flotilla sailing itself has changed over the years. The more input we have, the better! Several of our early crews have come up with piles of photos and stories from their particular years on the water, and we will ask everyone again to dig about in their attics or garages because it is finally happening!

Thanks to everyone who has already contributed. Hopefully it will end up as an entertaining read. My favourite bit is the instructions on how to hand start your boat engine from the 1978 manual!
