- Luxury Share-a-Yacht
Our luxury share-a-yacht holidays sail on one of our Beneteau 50's called 'Kassandra' (launched in 2011) and 'Kallista' (launched in 2013). They sail with up to four individuals or couples (up to a maximum of 8 people). This ensures everyone has their own cabin withensuite. There is also one of our experienced skippers on board with his/her own cabin.
People with a range of experience levels (from none to lots) take part in this programme which is what makes it so much fun. If you are an individual or a couple who have never sailed but would like to, then you can share a larger boat to learn the ropes first and perhaps have a smaller yacht to yourselves the following year.

One of our friendly and qualified skippers is included in the overall price of our luxury share-a-yacht option. They have expert local area knowledge to help you make the most out of your trip sailing around the Ionian Islands. This is a great way to learn the ropes and gives you the option to be as hands on (or off) as you like.
You and your crew mates together cover the skippers food and drink as per a normal skippered charter arrangement.This usually entails breakfast on board or in a local quayside taverna, followed by a picnic lunch in a bay. Dinner tends to be a brilliantly social affair on-shore, in one of the local tavernas in your new evening destination. Smoking is not allowed on any of our luxury book-a-cabins.
Kassandra and Kallista feature four double en-suite cabins, an extremely large saloon, and additional skippers cabin. Our Beneteau 50s are built for both comfort and speed. They have an auto-pilot, bow thruster, in-mast furling mainsail and roller furling headsail - all to continue our efforts to make sailing easier. All toilets are fitted with gravity holding tanks.
Luxury book-a-cabin provides an opportunity for individuals to spend a couple of weeks away from it all making new friends whilst sailing in the sun. The atmosphere ashore in the evenings afforded by a group of 30/40 people makes these holidays extremely popular for independent people who enjoy good company! On the other hand, you may just prefer to wander off and enjoy a more tranquil time alone. The majority of Share-a-Yacht customers have a ball and some stay in touch for years afterwards, some returning in following years as whole boat crews.
These yachts are equipped with: a furling foresail, bimini sunshade, gravity holding tank, inflatable dinghy, bathing platform with ladder & deck shower, step-through pulpit, cockpit table, cockpit cushions, linen and towels, radio and music player (jack to jack lead or bluetooth connection), electric fridge, self-tailing winches, pressurised water, at least one toilet & shower compartment, 12 volt electricity socket and GPS navigation system.
