A picturesque greek village, with a large choice of tavernas looking over the harbour. All perfect for watching the sun set. There is a choice of sandy beaches and a volleyball court. The village is surrounded by forests offering some fabulous opportunities for the explorers amoungst you.
The harbour of Nea Klima, or New Klima was built as land slides apparently made Old Klima Harbour too dangerous. It now has deep water off the quay and electricity and water points on each berth. It has good protection from all directions and great holding.
There are several tavernas, supermarkets and bakeries, all nestling in a bowl in the surrounding hills. It is a clean and pretty harbour which is a most enjoyable place to be. It’s position half way down the island and proximity to the pristine ‘Mamma Mia’ beaches is also a handy element of the equation. There are nice beaches on either side of the harbour and some wooded parkland areas adjacent to the harbour.
