Plaka is a beautiful small harbour in the Argolic Gulf. It is a very peaceful spot, with a long pebble beach and a harbour with crystal clear waters. The area is also famous for the Aubergine! It is a stop hard not to love.
Plaka is very small with only one mini market, several tavernas that line the quay and a couple of beach bars. A great place to relax and unwind. It is also possible to visit the beautiful Elona Monastry set high up in the cliff side, a 30 minute drive away.
The harbour is fairly deep - hard to pull up stern anchors, so it is best to go stern-to on the quay. It is also possible to moor on the old hydrofoil quay, but it is not as sheltered so it is best to moor side-to on it.
