We always enjoy an evening stroll around the Venetian streets and a coffee at the famous ‘Liston’ with its cricket ground and park. History buffs may enjoy a wander around the Citadel which held out many invaders over the centuries.
A relaxed evening coffee on the Liston, whilst watching the world go by, offers a great chance to immerse yourself in the true flavour of the Greek Island atmosphere.
The Citadel and the centre of Corfu Town are only a few minutes walk from the Naok Yacht Club pontoon. There is also a picturesque Greek acropolis style building nearby on the Citadel.
The second harbour, for those of you interested in history, the Yacht Club is in the old galley harbour of the citadel. Wandering up the defensive battlements to reach the main gate and bridge across the moat to town really takes you back to historic times!
The Corfu Yacht Club features a fabulous restaurant for those of you who may fancy a quiet and elegant evening. It is a bit more expensive than the tavernas, but some people will enjoy it as a treat.
