It took me 12 years to persuade my wife to come on this holiday and she was not really looking forward to it. She is now determined to come again! The flotilla for couples is a tremendous idea and the group got on very well. The sailing was good and the social life on shore with the group was tremendous.
A wonderful holiday. The Ionian is such a beautiful place to sail. The Greeks were so friendly. The little Jaguars - well we just love them. The company from the rest of the flotilla were such fun and new friends made. All this and the finest lead crew anybody could ask for.
By farthe best holiday I have been on. It was immense, largely down to the lead crews' friendliness, helpfulness and high regard for us the customers, even with some challenging situations.
We were fortunate with the weather, the mix of the flotilla members, and the exceptional performance of the Sailing Holidays staff. Sonia and I were very pleased with the holiday which we will remember favourably for a long time. Many thanks to everyone in your unique organisation
We have just returned from a 1 week Paxos flotilla. It was our first proper experience of cruising. We had a great time and all credit to John, Liam and Debs our lead team. They gave us confidence and we had a fantastic holiday. We certainly intend to return.
Just arrived back yesterday from a one week flotilla in the Ionian Islands which I booked as a surprise birthday present for my husband - it was absolutely everything I hoped it would be (and more!) and I just wanted to pass on my thanks to everyone, from the people who dealt with my initial enquiries and helped me to keep the booking secret, to the lead crew on Kirki (Dani, Sara and Nick) who were ever-patient in the face of navigational issues and much too much punch (!) and helped us to get the most from the experience.
My husband Dil so enjoyed himself and despite my fears, so did I - I honestly did! Now back on dry land I'm missing our little Jaguar and I'm certain we'll be back for more at some point. I am delighted that I went ahead and booked the holiday with you, and that Sailing Holidays has enough faith in novices like us to let us get on with it and have a wonderful holiday - we didn't really have a clue what we were doing when we arrived in Greece, but after just one week, I am likening myself to Captain Cook (heh heh!) and that says it all really!
We had the converted Jag Kea, which flew like a bird with the wind in the right direction and was ideal for the two of us. We had some excellent and at times pretty exciting sailing, fabulous company and were looked after brilliantly and I just wanted to say thank you.
Hoping to be back next year if not before.

Jess,Lara and Derek our lead crew were fantastic.
They were very professional in every manner.
They and Sailing Holidays made our holiday so special we will be returning next May along with six other couples we befriended.
... I think we've got the sailing bug because dry land just feels wrong to us now! It was absolutely amazing, and I'd jump at the chance to do it all again. I think I will have to, if only for the sake of the people at work, who I'm sure are fed up with me doing no work and spending all my time telling anyone that will listen about how fantastic my holiday was! I think a great testament to how much fun we had was that I was approached by someone as I stood in the queue in the airport to go home who'd seen us in the restaurant the night before and thought we looked like we'd had such a good time, he wanted to know which company we had sailed with so he could book something himself. We were pleased to heartily recommend Sailing Holidays!
Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed the two week whole Ionian flotilla. Pauline ‘puts up’ with sailing, I’m the enthusiast. By the end of the two weeks she was won over, going through the brochure and saying “the faraway islands looks a good idea for next year”.
Sailing holidays, yet again delivered just what they promised - if you are reading these comments to try to decide whether or not to book - just do it!!!
We had a fantastic time. The last time I sailed was on a flotilla holiday in 1978 when I was 16. Funny how it all comes back..Fantastic to find that in many respects nothing has changed.
My girlfriend Nicola and I returned home from our holiday on your South Ionian one week flotilla in Greece about a week ago (9th-16th August) and I wanted to write and thank you. We had a fantastic time, really enjoyed the sailing and thought the different harbours and anchorages we were taken to were excellent. It was great to have the freedom to get away from the large holiday crowds, even if only by a mile or two, and we will definitely be joining you for a holiday again in the future.
Just got back yesterday and wanted to drop a short note thanking you as a company and more specifically our lead crew on Zephyria - Jamie, James & Brooke - for a great holiday. My girlfriend had previously hostessed for a different flotilla company in the Aegean so we had a good idea what to expect but this was well over par. The right mix of sailing for both novices and more experienced sailors, great places to stay and enough time off the boat to enjoy the other benefits of being on holiday was spot on.
We enjoyed the whole experience so much that we are coming back this September, and planning to return next June again.
Everyone should get off the beach and go afloat, we are happy that we have.
It was a fantastic holiday and all your arrangements worked perfectly. Most of our flotilla bonded really well and the friendliness of the lead crew was instrumental in this. I made lots of new friends and shared many great experiences. For me personally, not being a keen sailor, it was great to know that at the end of a day, the crew were there to help and also have fun with. I am sure that my partner and I will be booking another holiday with you very soon!
We had a great time from start to finish and all in between! This was my third time with your company and everything I had appreciated before from your holidays was all there once again and we even managed to visit plenty of places I had not been to before.

We would just like to comment on the fantastic time we had, sailing on a one-week Ionian flotilla last week. It was geat to get out sailing in a very safe environment, no matter what your level of sailing experience - we'll certainly come back for more! The converted Jag 27's are ideal for 2, but maybe we'll come back with friends on a bigger boat next year...
Just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had May 2009 on our very first time aboard. We were total novices but were made to feel so confident because of our excellent team Jamie,James and Brooke. Made some excellent friends and would say to anyone thinking of doing this, book it, it is just so much fun !!!!!
My wife, Liz, and I so enjoyed our week (24 – 31 May) with your Lefkas Flotilla. We had limited sailing experience (windsurfing and dinghy sailing some years ago). But due to a combination of “kind” wind and expert advice on Day One from James, the Skipper, we learned enough to handle our Jaguar safely, if not completely competently – initially anyway – from Day Two of our holiday. What a great way to learn how to sail. The weather was beyond expectation, the itinerary was perfect and some of the moorings were picture postcard stuff!
I wanted to feed back to you our thanks for the absolutely BRILLIANT time we had on the one-week South Ionian flotilla over May half term. This was our fourth flotilla - although the first time we've gone in May rather than August - and it certainly won't be our last.
Just got home after the first week of the 2009 season. The lead crew of James, Liam and Hannah on Dessa could not have been better. They managed just the right mix of informality, fun and professionalism.

We've just got back from a fortnight in the Ionian on the Jaguar/Feeling flotilla led by James, Liam and Hannah. This was our twelfth trip with you - same route, same fortnight each year - and as usual we had a fantastic holiday. The lead crew was one of the best we've had; nothing was too much trouble for them, they always kept the 'This is your holiday, not ours' attitude.
