We've just returned from 2 weeks in the South Ionian, sailing with the finest bunch of people you'll ever meet, spotting dolphins and taking in the most unspoilt landscapes and safe sailing ever. James, Beth & Luke (on Kamara) kept us on course, out of harms way and entertained. They're a real credit to your company which stood out amongst the others in the area for the quality of its yachts and its relaxed, informative and professional approach. The best family holiday ever and we learnt how to sail too! Incredible. 2011 cant come too soon, "Dimari" Out.
As usual you staff do you credit and were exceptional.
James our skipper was very professional and knowledgeable without being over protective and allowing free reign when things could be learnt!
Luke our engineer responded to all our problems promptly and efficiently with a ready smile even when the problem was a smelly toilet!
Last but not least the charming Beth full of knowledge about so many places.
We cannot fault the way we were looked after as all three went over and above the call of duty – Thank you.
All the other holiday makers were great and we all really gelled well together with the help of the lead crew who I can't praise highly enough. We visited some fantastic places and felt really confident as first time sailors with our lead crew to support us.
We loved it. We made some really good friends, learned to sail a bit, saw lots of places we hadn't seen before... Anna cried all the way home because she had to leave the holiday and her friends.
Without doubt the best holiday we have ever had! Having been with Sailing Holidays before we knew the routine and laid-back, but professional attitude the lead crew would give us, but Dani, Nick and Helen are a credit to you and helped us to have such a fantastic time. Our boys were in touch with the friends they made 12 hours after we got home and are asking when (and if!) we can book for next year. THANK YOU!!!!
All 4 of us had the best holiday we've ever had, the girls had never done any lengthy sailing before, and loved it. We were all devastated to leave and have been planning next years trip since getting on the coach! Thanks to all for an amazing fortnight
A highly enjoyable holiday, surpassed our expectations. Amazed at the freedom we were allowed and the trust paid in us by the lead crew. Lead crew were 100% professional at all times and we felt totaly safe and secure.
Sadly the adverse weather prevented us visiting Zakinthos, so we settled on the very best of the South Ionian. Ben, Katie and Richard were fantastic and great ambassadors for the company for all the sailors they helped in some challenging conditions. Once again thank you for a great time, and as for Zakinthos, there is always next year!

It was absolutely excellent. We loved visiting all the different places, the crew were very helpful and all in all the holiday was brilliant and we will definitely return.

Just to pass on again our thanks to the Sailing Holidays team for another fantastic holiday...this is our 3rd flotilla and we had a fab time on our South Ionian flotilla with an excellent lead crew on Kamara. We will definately be back and are already looking at booking up for next year...hopefully going to give the North Ionian a go in 2011!!
I really feel that this holiday was the best, from the staff at the boat show where I booked my holiday, to the base staff in Sivota. Our yacht, Isis, was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The lead crew were always there with a smile, nothing was too much trouble, and they are a credit to you. I will definately be back when finances allow, (I'm hoping to win the lottery!), and I can't think of anything that would have improved my holiday.
Can't wait..............till next year! Just back from 2 weeks South Ionian in a 323 and didn't think it could get any better than when we went in July, but it does.

My wife and I returned last weekend from your two week Zakinthos flotilla holiday having had a Beneteau 361 (Tucano) to ourselves for the fortnight.
This was our 4th flotilla holiday with you and definitely the best yet.
We are first time sailing holiday people and found your company on the internet one rainy winter day and following a conversation with you booked a 2 week south Ionian Flotilla holiday. Over several months before we went on holiday we spoke to a few head office people who were all so friendly and helpful. Even when I asked potentially basic questions I was never left feeling awkward or silly. They were helpful and knowledgeable. Overall as a family we have decided that this is the best holiday we have ever been on and for this reason we are booking for the same 2 weeks next year on the south Ionian route , hopefully with Isis ???? Our friends who also were on the same flotilla -the Nortons have also booked .

Just a brief note to congratulate you all on another fantastic holiday. We were with Holly, Dan and Tim on the Southern Ionian route for the past two weeks and had a ball. Great bunch of guys all together on the trip and a brilliant lead boat crew, they actually made you feel that they cared about your well-being and safety (a rare commodity these days). We retruned from our holiday on the 20th of September after having an absolutely fantastic two weeks on Mazia (Beneteu 323) in the South Ionian and our first Regatta. This is the first time I have ever written a letter following a holiday, to be honest either holiday was just ok or it was not worth writing about but I just had to write in to say that Helen and myself had a great time far better than we ever expected.
I'd like to express our sincere thanks to you for the truly fantastic holiday that Donna, Denis, Pat and I enjoyed earlier this month. For four vacation deprived Yanks it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that hopefully will not remain a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Each day was a new adventure and exploration, but always safe with the knowledge that help was just a radio call away. It is hard to recall a vacation during which I read less, for it seemed that there was always something to do whether sailing, exploring the islands, partaking in refreshments or just simply sitting and soaking in the glories of a great time in Greece...
I just felt I had to let you know what a great time the four of us had last week.I thought it was excellent to experience all different types of overnight mooring and to be left to virtually do our own thing during the day. Certainly we will do this holiday again and enthuse to others about your company and the support and professionalism of the lead boat team we experienced.

My girlfriend Nicola and I returned home from our holiday on your South Ionian one week flotilla in Greece about a week ago (9th-16th August) and I wanted to write and thank you. We had a fantastic time, really enjoyed the sailing and thought the different harbours and anchorages we were taken to were excellent. It was great to have the freedom to get away from the large holiday crowds, even if only by a mile or two, and we will definitely be joining you for a holiday again in the future.
We had a fantastic time. The last time I sailed was on a flotilla holiday in 1978 when I was 16. Funny how it all comes back..Fantastic to find that in many respects nothing has changed.
Sailing holidays, yet again delivered just what they promised - if you are reading these comments to try to decide whether or not to book - just do it!!!
We had a fantastic holiday...best ever. The boat (323) was brilliant, easy to handle and very comfortable and would recommend the boat and your company to anyone. We fancy another route next year, so will be saving our pennies from now on.
I am writing to let you know what a superb holiday we had. The Lead boat 'crew', James, Liam and Hannah, were very friendly, helpful and professional. Both my daughters really enjoyed the holiday, for Kimberley it was her first experience of sailing and she loved it. We have all vowed to return.

I would just like to leave a comment about the fantastic time I have had sailing in the Lefkas flotilla, 21-28th June. The lead crew were helpful and friendly at all times and could not do enough for us no matter what we asked. We did not have much sailing experience at all. The route was excellent, the boat was good and the overall organisational side was perfectly managed. Thank you very much Sailing Holidays for such an amazing holiday.

We would just like to comment on the fantastic time we had, sailing on a one-week Ionian flotilla last week. It was geat to get out sailing in a very safe environment, no matter what your level of sailing experience - we'll certainly come back for more! The converted Jag 27's are ideal for 2, but maybe we'll come back with friends on a bigger boat next year...
We've just returned last weekend from our first flotilla holiday. I had been a little anxious about it, but I have to say that we had a fantastic holiday.
This was our 5th trip with you and we received a great welcome and very friendly service from start to finish, the boat went really well. Well done, we will be back........soon.

I have just arrived back from my second flotilla Holiday with you in the saronic islands, having had another amazing time!! and really not wanting to return home to the depressing english weather!
Just wanted to say we had an absolutely fabulous week sailing from 21st-28th June on your Lefkas 1 week flotilla. It was our first ever flotilla week, but certainly won't be our last.

I just wanted to thank you for providing us with one of the best holidays for many a year! I had done no sailing since my days as a naval cadet at R.N. College Dartmouth (1960) and amazingly, after some tuition from Warren out of Sivota, things started to fall into place, confidence grew and we were away! Already thinking about another trip next year.
This is our third flotilla with you and the whole family, plus a girl friend, came with us and everyone loved it so much they all want to go again, but for two weeks next time!

What a cracking time we had. We've sailed bareboat before on our own which was quite dicey (especially trying to get into harbour on your
own) and we were wary of penny pinching flotillas with loads of 'know it all' lead crews.
We saw Sailing Holidays when we were on a bareboat holiday in 2008 and we were impressed. We decided to give Sailing Holidays a go.

Arrived back in England last night after spending a week on a Feeling 960 sailing the South Ionian! My husband and I and our 3 son's Tom, Luke and Oliver have had a magical time! Our crew, James, Hannah and Liam have been outstanding and have also left an incredible immpression on our children! The boys did not want to come home!Thank you all very much for making our holiday one to remember! (Again!)
My wife, Liz, and I so enjoyed our week (24 – 31 May) with your Lefkas Flotilla. We had limited sailing experience (windsurfing and dinghy sailing some years ago). But due to a combination of “kind” wind and expert advice on Day One from James, the Skipper, we learned enough to handle our Jaguar safely, if not completely competently – initially anyway – from Day Two of our holiday. What a great way to learn how to sail. The weather was beyond expectation, the itinerary was perfect and some of the moorings were picture postcard stuff!
We have just returned from a week on the Lefkas Flotilla and would just like to report what an excellent time we had and the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. The lead crew, James, Liam and Hannah were absolutely fantastic. Thank you.

I wanted to feed back to you our thanks for the absolutely BRILLIANT time we had on the one-week South Ionian flotilla over May half term. This was our fourth flotilla - although the first time we've gone in May rather than August - and it certainly won't be our last.
What a fantastic company you have! We have just completed our first flotilla- 2 weeks in the South Ionian- and can not wait to repeat the experience. The boys Will and Eddie (10 and 12) have also had the best holiday and experience of learning that dinghy sailing can easily be scaled up!
